To evaluate the Eco Index of this website we used the browser extension “Green IT”. The extension compares the impact while loading the page such as CO2 and water consumption using a database from https://www.ecoindex.fr/.

In addition, the extension offers best practices to optimize the performance of the website from an ecological point of view.

With an EcoIndex of 87.69 (from a maximum value of 100) we have achieved the best possible score “A”. Per page view, 1.87 cl of water is consumed and 1.25g of CO2e is emitted.

The score was last evaluated on 26.02.2023. We will update the score regularly.

Especially in view of the fact that this website was created by supporters without any training or education in web design, we would like to use this post to show that each individual is capable of making a positive contribution to sustainable digitization.
